New P.C build not turning on. Getting no signal on t.v

I've connected the Grapchics card to the T.V via a HDMI cable sorted the two pins then the CPU and Graphics card fans start spinning but getting no signal on the t.v. What could it be?

If you get a blank screen then make sure you have selected the correct resolution set by the TV. Try 1280×720 pixels (720p) or 1920×1080 pixels (1080p) by setting the resolution in the display properties.

handshake problem then.. I get all the time with my V+ box, Amp and TV.. Damn annoying - glad it's sorted..
