Hey guys,

My parts arrived today, and loving them! :p

Building will commence on Saturday as get the OS tomorrow, but going to watch the rugby with some friends :cool:

Here's a teaser pic of the new parts. Might be selling CoD:MW2 - or trade for BF:BC2 if anyone is interested, and will also probs sell the AvP game! Keep an eye peeled on the FS section or just drop me an e-mail.

Congratualtions for finally getting things sorted :D Im currently in a similar posistion to what you were in. I think my rents will let me buy at somepoint =/ However i did just buy an itouch and trying to get a new laptop.

Definately want to know how this goes :)
 
I used that motherboard in a build the other day for a friends mum. I noticed in the device manager there was "other device" floating around without any drivers for it.

Be interesting to see if you can work out what it is, I never spent too much time on it to be honest. The board itself was pretty neat... drivers however weren't the best.

Looking forward to seeing the finished article :)

I've heard similar things. Might be worth checking this place out. Seem to have good support and know where to find stuff :p

Brilliant board for price spec wise though, and suits my uses pretty well indeed.

Mhmm, but that topic was already covered and overcome a while ago - as I imagine a fair chunk of the forum knows! :p

I reckon he's still a bit grouchy I didn't wait till march to buy his Phenom II X4 and MSI mobo.

Sorry Stulid, but after waiting 5 odd years I couldn't wait any longer! :eek:
 
Is your C300 actually saturating SATA-II atm? I was under impression it wasn't yet.

And don't you current have SATA 6GB/s on your MSI? Or is it not the 8XXseries I thought it was?

That was also my upgrade route thinking :p

Have to! Both optical drives, my PSU and my HDDs are currently being used in this PC.

AND don't get new OS until tomorrow but I'm out all of tomorrow so won't get to build until Saturday evening! :eek::mad:

Thanks RJC, will be great to see games in max detail with stable 30+ fps instead of <30fps lowest everything and dx8 :cool:

You can build it without the OS!

Just would be frustrating not being able to use it :p
