Hey all,

I've been looking to move away from my toaster of a laptop and get a decent desktop PC.

My budget is around £600 but anything less would be a lot better.

Does anyone know what parts, etc i would need?

thanks

P.S. Please refrain from using complicated terms, i will have not a clue what you're on about as I've been a console gamer for a while now. Thanks again

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £615.56
(includes shipping: £14.70)
Could drop the SSD to get it under 600. Would also need windows if you dont already have it.

Pre built:

Add £80 if you need windows installed.

Both of these are examples but can be fiddled with a bit to keep within budget/taste.

It's best to tell us what you have/haven't got. Do you want a monitor, operating system, keyboard and mouse?

You'll struggle to stay within budget if you need all of the above.

i can probably get a keyboard, mouse and monitor for dirt cheap i'm not really looking for anything massive in those departments at the moment. it's just the PC im after for now
