Hi,

I'm after a new silent pc mostly for programming and some photoshop work. That's what I have picked so far:

* Intel i7 875K OC Unlocked, S1156, Lynnfield, 2.9GHz, DMI 2.5GT/s, 8MB Cache, 22xCore Ratio, 95W
* 520W Corsair HX Series Modular PSU, ATX, EPS12V
* Coolermaster Sileo 500 Black Mid Tower Case
* 6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 Classic, DDR3 PC3-10666 (1333) Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 7-7-7-20, 1.65V
* Prolimatech Megahalems Black Anodised Mega Shadow 6xHeatpipe Tower CPU Cooler for 1156 & 775/1366
* Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3, Intel P55 Express, S1156, PCI-E 2.0, DDR3 2200, SATA 6Gb/s, RAID, USB 3.0, ATX
* 1GB Sapphire HD 5450 , PCI-E 2.1(x16), 1600MHz GDDR3, GPU 650MHz, 80 Cores, D-Sub/ DL DVI-I/ HDMI
* Intel X25-M Mainstream Solid State Drive - 34nm Product Line - Solid state drive - 80 GB - internal - 2.5" - SATA-300

Any thoughts? Also, I haven't built a pc before so I would be glad to pay someone to do it for me - are there any firms with a good name that do that?

the intel K series are a waste of money, as you'll reach similar speed overclocing a non K series.

i would save some money and get an i5 750/760, or spend a similar amount with a socket 1366 setup with an i7 920/930, gigabyte x58 ud3r and 6gb ram

edit: with the setup youve listed, you should be looking at 4 or 8gb of ram, as socket 1156 boards have dual channel memory (meaning they takes ram two sicks at a time). 6gb ram are for socket 1366 boards, which have triple channel memory (meaning they take 3 sticks at a time)
