Hi all. Looking to build a new machine as I'm passing my current one on to my wife. Put the following together, can anyone see anything obviously wrong with it? I know there are cheaper coolers and fans available, but the ones chosen are as much for their aesthetics as for their performance. I'm looking to keep the build under £1800 but still ensure it's a pretty decent upgrade over my current machine (I7-9900, 2070 Super, 32GB DDR4).

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,811.75 (includes delivery: £11.98)

Any thoughts or suggestions?

PC is multi-use, I do everything from gaming to browsing to photo editing and most points in-between.

Main reason for not looking at the Core Ultras is simply down to price, even the cheapest one is around £40 more expensive, and according to CPU Benchmark offers less performance. If there is a compelling reason to look at them then I'm open to suggestions, but I suspect I'd have to cut back somewhere else to stay inside budget.

Edit: Having a look at the Antec C5 now, it's a lovely case, and the included fans is a very decent cost saving that could go towards other things. Very interesting.

Which drive is for Windows?

If it is the WD Blue, swap it for a fast NVME as it does not cost much more.

If it is the Crucial, swap it for one with no heatsink as you want it in the top slot and the motherboard has a cooling plate.

Does it have to be a Nvidia GPU? RX 7800XT looks to be similar performance and is cheaper.

New GPU's are out soon.

The Crucial is going to be the OS drive, and that's a good point re: the heatsink. Will swap that out for a replacement without one.

As far as GPU, it doesn't strictly have to be Nvidia, but I've used them for years without any major issue so I'm more likely to stick with them due to that.

I've found the RTX 4070 Super 12GB Zotac Twin Edge OC GDDR6X in stock somewhere for £599.25, which is the best price I've found, and I think I'd still be in budget for it.

Are you in a hurry? For that price, I'd be tempted to wait for the 5070 and 9070.

Kinda in a hurry, my wife wants my current PC before she starts her new job on the 3rd March, and I know the 5070 is released on the 5th. I'm not desperate for the 5070 tbh, I'm more of a console gamer than a PC gamer in the main, and whether I get a 4070 or a 4070 Super, it'll be a pretty good improvement over my current rig.
