new pc almost up and running

After an issue with a doa board the pc is now up and running, nice to have the extra features over the 920. looks about a 20% boost to things across the board.

i like windows 8 its nice, bit of getting used to but i love the startup time, its quite mental

currently running at 4.75ghz @ 1.35 volts.

ram is still on going.

excuse the mess in the video, its not all cable tidied etc yet.

that ram should be easy to setup

2133mhz you should be able to run 10-11-11-21-1t timings and maybe 1.55v-1.65v dram voltage

might go higher idk with haswell

yeah. i got my hopes up with 8 packs 2400 timings. they didnt work, so now im working my way down

Also really enjoying the asus ai suite 3. it turns all the fans off when the cpu is idle. so the pc is totally silent, as in, 0 sound. custom fan profiles so when it hit about 60, they are on 100% (still not loud with the fans i use)

its great!

temps are about 25-7 on the cpu at idle. with all fans off. 24/26 on the graphics cores at idle. not bad for silent
