Had my radeon 9800 pro for ages now and I remember back in the day when it set me back about £270

Anyway then upgraded to athlon 3400 about 2 years ago but then I was stuck graphics wise being limited to AGP so put watercooling in my PC and overclocked etc. I was fairly happy but now with the likes of Splinter cell double agent/rainbow6 vegas and generally most new games either not playable at all (shader mark 3!) or just slow unless I have the settings on medium'ish I thought bugger the expense - give the cat a goldfish ;)

I decided to treat myself for Christmas and this is what I've stuck on order with Overclockers today, just hope I've done the right thing and don't regret blowing all that cash!

Antec p180
Corsair HX 620w
Evga nforce 680i (luckily these came in stock yesterday)
Core2 E6600
2GB geil PC6400
Seagate 320GB Sata
and the big daddy! BFG 8800 GTX

Can't wait!!! I must have had my 9800 for 3/nearly 4 years now

The only thing I missed out on as it went out of stock is the creative xfi fatal1ty but that can wait I suppose.

I noticed you're from my neck of the woods, I'm sure I'll notice a few power spikes when you hook that beasty kit up!!

Very good buys matey, enjoy!!
