Hi, I've just got the following spec:

MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5-2500 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
Asus P8P67 PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge)
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-00599)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply
Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black
GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz VALUE PLUS Dual Channel (GVP34GB1600C9DC)
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103SJ)
Pioneer 24x Internal S19LBK DVD Rewriter including Labelflash SATA Retail

When I switch it on you hear all the usual noises of the fans and hard drive starting up, but then a second later everything stops and goes quite. Then 2 seconds after that it starts up again and boots up fine. I've checked all the connections and everything seems to be ok. Is this something to worry about? Thanks.

My rig does that, not often but once every few weeks. It's never bothered me to be honest so I've never looked into it. Maybe someone can shed some light on it. :)

This seems to crop up a lot with asus boards. My p67 pro doesn't do it, however the P5Q3 board downstairs does it only when it's overclocked. At stock it loads up as normal. I've mentioned about it on this forum before and the response I got was it's a safety feature concerning power or something like that iirc. It's nothing to worry about, albeit slightly annoying.

It only happens on my Asus board when I flick the switch on the PSU and try to cold boot it. Very rarely is it off at the wall, so doesn't really bother me. Been running solid for three years, so definitely nothing to concern yourself with.
