Hi all,
I'm looking to build a new PC, please can someone advise does the below specs make sense or is there anything better/faster that you suggest?

My budget is around 6000gbp
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X 24GB GDDR6X
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 4.2 GHz, 128 MB, BOX
MOBO: MSI MEG X670E ACE
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5, DDR5, 64 GB, 6000MHz, CL30
PSU: MSI MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 1300W
CASE: Lian Li PC-O11D Razer Edition
SSD: SSD Crucial T700 4TB M.2 2280 PCI-E x4 Gen5 NVMe 2.0
AIO COOLER: Deepcool LT720 ARGB

I would like to build something that is as fast as possible and will last at least two years before any upgrades.
Thank you all in advice

Sorry I forgot,
It will be mainly for gaming, with a bit of overclocking (I know that this cpu ia not that great for OC but is good for gaming).

I also wanted to have case fans (I though about Noctua 3000rpm) that will allow me to reach the highest speeds when I want to but will be quiet or semi quiet during the normal use.

I'm in Poland at the moment and the price for the above is around 23500pln which is roughly 4500gbp

If you're only gaming, I would consider downgrading some of these parts.

7950X3D isn't really necessary, 7800X3D does just fine and you could upgrade the CPU when the next gen of X3D CPUs release (or the second next gen, e.g. 9800X3D).

The X670E ACE is super expensive and some of the 'premium' features are unlikely to offer you anything for gaming.

For example:
- Do you need 10Gig LAN?
- Do you need high-end audio?
- How many rear USB?
- Is 4x M.2 and 6x SATA necessary?

I also find it disappointing that a £600+ board doesn't have rear USB 4.

If I wanted PCI-E 5.0 graphics and SSD, I'd probably buy the TUF X670E-PLUS (~£300), or otherwise I'd get the B650 Tomahawk (~£200).

SSD: SSD Crucial T700 4TB M.2 2280 PCI-E x4 Gen5 NVMe 2.0

PCI-E 5.0 isn't much advantage for gaming from the benchmarks I've seen, so I'd be inclined to swap this for one 1TB or 2TB drive (just for those games that might benefit from it) and buy a higher-end PCI-E 4.0 drive for the other capacity. I'm also reluctant to sink too much money into a large capacity SSD, because of their tendency to randomly go pop.

Thank you, it makes sense

If it helps, this is what I'd buy for optimal price/performance:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,956.86 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Cooler: this (under £50).

This is what I'd buy for money no object:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £3,993.91 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Hi Tetras,
It helps a lot, I just have few further questions:
In the last setup you picked 5600mhz memory over 6000mhz, what is the reason?

I still would like to go with t700 m.2, do you have any idea will it work max speed with 4090 as well?

Thank you

Last I looked, OCUK don't have any 64GB 6000 kits in stock.

Ignore the last question. I could build raid 0 m.2 to get stupid speeds for same or less money than t700

I don't think you need either if you're just gaming, a decent PCI-E 4.0 drive is fine.

B650 Tomahawk: no. This motherboard only supports PCI-E 4.0.

X670E-Creator: yes.
