Hi guys,

Looking at getting the following. Any feedback would be appreciated:-

There is no graphics card as i plan to get the 8800 GT.
Will the Thermalright Ultra and Noctua fan be sufficient to for the overclocked Q6600?
The corair power supply. Does the "Modular" bit mean various unneeded wires can be detached from the PSU.

Cheers

Depends on the overclock.
Why not go for the faster one that allows..
- 12v performance - 1200RPM, 17dBA, 48CFM
- 7.5v performance - 600RPM, <6dBA, 24CFM

Yes to the PSU question.

I'm going for the GT gfx card, so cant put it in the shopping basket.

Split, how hard is it to adjust a fan from 12v to 7v? Can you do it with software, or need a fan control

Read the fan spec..Ultra-Low-Noise Adaptor (U.L.N.A.) included.
The U.L.N.A is simply a 149 Ohm resistor that lowers the volts to the fan.

This fan comes with more than one lead.
Simple really...to run at full speed you don't use it.
See here.
