Hi,

I am building a new PC and was just wondering if you could make any improvements. I am using it for gaming, web development/ design work.

Proc - Intel i5 Skylake 6500/3.2 GHz
Mobo - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3000 MHz
PSU - Corsair Builder SeriesCXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX
SSD - Samsung 250GB 850 EVO + Samsung 120GB 850 Evo
GPU - MSI Nvidia GTX 970 4GB DDR5 256 Bit
Case - BitFenix BFC-COM-100-KKXS1-RP

I have already got the monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Budget is around £800 - £900

Anyone know if it will all fit in a MiDi or should I go full size?

Thank you

Should be absolutely fine, nothing you've specified there is unusually sized.

Typically the things to look out for are the

1. GPU length - your case allows for up to 30cm and your card is 27cm, so that's fine, giving you 3cm for the cables if they're on the end (off the top of my head I think they're on the side of that card anyway, so even less of an issue)
2. PSU size when using larger (1000W or larger) units - but your Corsair is a pretty normal size and won't be an issue
3. CPU Cooler height (or radiator position)

The only thing you don't mention is CPU cooler - large air coolers or closed-loop watercoolers can cause issues. If you're using the stock Intel cooler there's no problem, but let us know if you're intending to use something else.

Thank you for the reply, good to know that nothing is unusually sized.

I know the GPU is quite large so I was just hoping that would fit in.

I think I will just keep the intel cooler, I will overclock at some point then will post again on here asking which is the best cooler to get.

You can get very good CPU coolers for about £25, which will be cooler and quieter (and give the option of OCing later if you're feeling frisky).
