I'm running games at 1920x1080 and Im looking at running games smoothly at high settings for as little as possible basically. with a budget going no higher than £800. Am i missing anything? I did benchmarks on the graphics cards and it seems this is a decent card for playing on high specs no? compared to others around the same price.

Must haves:
i5 2500k
Case below (unless someone has a reason against it)

Do not need:
Keyboard mouse monitor etc.
OS
DVD/BLU ray drive

NB: I used Anandtech for benchmarks

Krypton Z68 590i Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.40GHz Overclocked Bundle£245.99
Options applied to the above product:
Corsair Vengeance Blue Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML8GX3M2A1600C9B)£43.99
Options applied to the above product:
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard REV 1£81.59
---------------------
Club3D HD 6950 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (CGAX-69548A)£167.99

Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM (ST2000DL003)£89.99

Sharkoon T28 Midi Tower Case - Black/Red£59.99

OCZ ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply£59.99

Sub Total :

£624.60
PS. how do you do that basket linkage with the pics and everything? or are people doing it the old fashioned way?

Update:
I have now built the machine, one problem! =(

I need a writer that doesn't have a sicking out bezel if possible. (Using Fractal Design R3 case)

Hi Gannicus
Thanks for choosing T28 case and we would like to send you a free DarkGlider Gaming mouse as appreciation. At moment we haven't even got sample yet and you will be the first person in UK to have it. Page me a PM and I will arrange it for you

For the benefit of Gannicus

It would be a good idea for both of you to enable your TRUST, its a little button you will find in the bottom right of your posts, if you both enable it you can then send messages.

more posts here about the mouse than the actual topic... =/
BTW, i enabled that trust, thanks for the advice.

Everyone's a bit distracted! The shopping cart thing can be found here:

Are you after a bundle specifically? You can generally get it cheaper if you buy it separately and overclock yourself [which the i5s are good at!]

If I was spending that much on a card, I'd get this instead:

Comparison:

it tends to do better at high settings :)

Or if you were to spend a bit more a 7850 is a great option, with really good overclock capabilities as you can see in this thread.

Also, if the 2TB is an OS drive, I'd get a 7200RPM drive instead. Or even better an SSD, the M4 is great :)

It's good for windows and a few games, and will really speed things up!

Some things came up due to moving and buying a new bike that i had to hold off the purchase until now. After checking the advice, how does this look to play current/upcomming games on highest at 1920x1080? budget is £800 and again, no need for an OS but my keyboard has now failed

Thanks for the help =) i ordered the above apart from the case (fractal r3 instead) psu(got a 750w)

Only problem i have is finding a DVD writer that will fit snugly inside my case. Anyone able to link one?
From the images its hard to tell if the bezel will get in the way or not. Because the Fractal design case has quieting foam on the inside of its front door, i need a writer that doesn't have a sicking out bezel if possible.
