Hi guys,

I've recently built a new pc the spec is:

Processor - Intel i7 2600k (overclocked to 4.5)
CPU Cooler - Corsair Hydro H70
Memory - Corsair Vengeance 8GB
Graphics Card - MSI Nvidia GTX 580 (overclocked to 900mhz)
Motherboard - Gigabyte P67A-UD5-B3
Hard Drive 1 - Intel 510 Series "Elmcrest" 120GB SSD
Hard Drive 2 - Western Digital Cavier Blue 1TB
Optical Drive - Samsung SH-B123L/BSBP Blu-Ray
Power Supply - Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular
Case - Coolermaster CM-690 II Advanced Dominator
Keyboard + Mouse - Razer Deathadder + Razer Lycosa

I have it overclocked to 4.5ghz at 2.28v with memory timings of 8 8 8 24 which is whats written on the stick (overclockers shows 9 9 9 24) i ran prime95 with no issue for about 12hrs.

So what basically happens is when it's running the computer is fine, no issues it's spot on.

When i turn it all off and leave it for a couple of hours, when i turn it back on it boots up, screen stays blank and then restarts, it then continues to stay in a boot loop.

I switch it off, pull a stick of memory out and then fire it back up it works, so i shut it back down and put the stick back in, fire it up and it works.

The same happens above if i just run one stick of memory.

So any ideas guys as i'm completely baffled.

Thanks,
Dave

1.28V I trust.

What voltage is used on the ram?

Have you tried the other slots for the ram?

Is the boot disk SSD visible in the bios?

andy.

Voltage is 1.5v on ram as says on the stick, SSD is visible, not tried the other slots but will give that ago.

If still continues i'm going have go back to basics!
