Hey,

I was looking for a bit of advice before my next step, which is to visit a PC repair shop. Long story short, this is my third personal PC build. I have quite a clear knowledge on building them and my previous 2 builds worked straight away. With this current build, I have connected everything up, the PC powers on but there’s no signal to the monitor. I have spent a few hours testing different parts. First I thought it may of been the CPU, as I left it run for a few minutes, and then looked at the CPU, the thermal paste looked unheated. I then ordered another CPU online, same problem, so it’s the not the CPU. Iv tried different rams sticks, even no ram sticks, nothing. I’m totally stumped.

Please can I borrow someone’s wise mind, i just want to get my moneys worth now and actually have a working PC :).

There’s no bios, I can’t hear any clicks when I plug audio in. Tried the monitor with my PlayStation works fine, also different cables

My specs are

CPU - Intel i5 9600k

Mobo - msi b365m pro-vh ddr 4 matx

Ram - Corsair vengeance 16gb 2x8gb

Ssd 500gb

Hdd 2tb

Gpu - msi 1660 super venture Xs oc

Case - cas-520 xigmatek

CPU cooler - aerocool Cylon 4

Psu - EVGA 500w

Are all the fans spinning up? Any debug LEDs lit up?

My best guess, given you've tried 2 CPUs, is the mobo.

Does your CPU have integrated graphics? If so, hook your monitor up to that and remove your gpu.

Did you make sure to use the gold risers for the motherboard? Does anything get power when you turn it on? If not, try starting the PSU with a paperclip and see if it starts up ok.
