I am looking to build a new PC Based around some old and new components. My current system is an Intel Core 2 duo 3.0ghz with 8gb of DDR ram with a Samsung SSD running Win7. For the case I have an Antec P193 which I am looking to recycle. CPU is currently cooled by a Corsair H70. GFX Card is a XFX Radeon 7970 3GB Black Edition.
I would like to move to an Intel i7 3930 3.2Ghz and upgrade the Ram to 32gb for CAD work and gaming and venture into watercooling. Plan would be to buy DDR3 Ram for the new mobo.
I would like some advice on motherboard choices and water cooling a I am a noob to the H2O cooling. I would like to cool the Gfx card and CPU with a view to doing some OC'ing.
Budget I had in mind is around the £1200 mark to get everything I need but could stretch this a little further for the right solution to get some future proofing.
Over to you guys, what would be your recommendations?
