Good afternoon all,

Apologies for any missed information, I'm not very good when it comes to 'knowing' PC's, I just know the attributes that I would like.

So I've had my current PC for a few years now and I am ready for a new one. I already have a GTX 980 graphics card so I assume I can just move this over to my new pc?

Here are my current specs.

The idea is that I want to better what I already have.
I want the pure maximum performance that I can get for my budget. The issue I have with my current one is the lack of RAM. It seems I only have 4GB so I want much more as this PC keeps maxing out at 99%.

I use my PC to game on Ultra settings.
I use my PC to stream to Twitch.
I edit videos using Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas.

I record my gaming footage by using the Elgato HD60 Pro which plugs into my motherboard, not sure if I needed to specify for this but just saying that I need a place for it..

I already have monitors, keyboard and mouse.
I would like as many usb ports as possible also as I seem to use a lot of usb devices.

Show me the best/most powerful PC I can get for my budget of £1000. I will be willing to consider something over £1000 if you really think its worth it.

Any more information please ask.

Are your drives HDD or SSD? Do you have other restrictions like size or noise or portability?

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Hopefully this answers the first question.

Size I don't think would matter, noise.. if it can be quiet then sure please make it quiet.. This is a desktop PC so it will be staying in one location.

I've edited the opening post.
Just to add I seem to use a lot of USB devices so usb ports would need to be a plenty. 5+ should be fine. Be it 3 back 2 front, which ever.

My Dad will be getting this current PC. So a brand new everything for me apart from the GTX 970.

Whats the difference between an ITX and ATX, which would be better?

The first example was one I had already there from speccing on another thread.

In the second example I haven't included the case and a Silverstone FT05 costs £130 or so, which brings you near to £1K. But you could bump the CPU to a 6700K or 6800K or the SSD to 1T.

The difference between ITX and ATX is principally in the number of PCI Express slots - the ITX has one, ATX has many more - but also in RAM capacity - 2 DIMMs vs 4 - and SATA ports. Most people don't need more than an ITX board, but ATX is often cheaper and having the ability to expand is nice.

Is this something OC could build for me? As I have no knowledge of building pc's.
