Hi

I have a request please, I am looking to build a new PC specifically for gaming, I have £1000 - £1250 to spend and require some advice.

I want to move to PCI-E, and so i do not know if I will need a new case?

Anyway I will need to buy:

Motherboard
Memory
Graphics Card
Power Supply
Processor
Hard Drive
Sound Card

The two items below I have but will I need a new case for a new PCI-E Motherboard?
CD/DVD
Case

If i need the two items above please include in your replies (If any - fingers crossed)

Thank you
Gav
Any help appreciated, I am building this myself

£293

Power
Antec Phantom 500w Hybred ATX 2.0
£117

CPU
Intel Pentium 4 960 Dual Core "LGA775 Presler" 3.6GHz (800FSB)

Will all this work together and can anyone suggest improvements and also resolve the memory and HD issue

Hi yes I came to that conclusion (I am at work surfing the net haha)

Latest idea is:

HD
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB
55.95

G card
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X 512MB
214.99

Power
Antec Neo HE 430W Modular
£52.99

BUNDLE
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4
Abit AB9 Pro
2GB GeIL PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel
£439.97

= £763.90
+£133.69 VAt

TOTAL
£897.59

What do you think, have i forgotten anything?

As i say I have case, CD/DVD

Cheers
