Choose the Asus board over the abit board as I prefer Asus. My budget is £1,200

get the corsair HX520W for a PSU, it cheaper, more stable, modular and it is the PSU nearly if not everyone that answers spec me type threads will tell you to get (its highly recommended here).

this isn't a spec me thread it is just one to make sure it will be ok, I have choosen such a high watt psu because the CPU and Ram will be overclocked.
Also does anyone recommend that I get a graphics card cooler.
What is wrong with the OCZ PSU?

Edit: this PSU any good? don't really want a psu costing over £90 and really want at least a 600watt PSU

Or recommend me a psu over 600Watt was is under £90 what is a decent PSU.

Even with a GPU and CPU overclocked I can't see that rig using more than 450W.

Updated system list, Will this do now?

LOL, the system would on cost just under 1k if it wasn't for VAT. Does anyone recommend me to get a graphics card cooler because can't these cards get a little to hot and burn out?

I'd still drop to the 520W - even if you was to crossfire you wouldn't need more than 520W! That PC calc recommends 424W if I was to Sli my system (which I cant as P35 chipset doesn't support it). 8800GT burn out? I haven't heard anything about that. They run hot yes (80C for me after few hours of games) but it wont damage them.

Ok, I will look at psu's, I just heard somewhere that if they keep getting to hot they burn out after a while.

Considering they have only been out for about 5 weeks (and I got mine pretty much as soon as they came out) I seriously doubt that. *touch wood

Would I have to buy a tube of thermal paste as I am not using a stock CPU Cooler, I will be using a Artic Freezer 7, if I do need to buy a tube is this stuff alright? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=TH-001-AR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=27

Also as I am getting a Zotac GeForce 8800 GT AMP 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express), what does the AMP mean again as I have forgot and I know they are good cards just can't remember what it means.

Anyone know if I will need a tube of thermal paste as I am putting a Artic Freezer 7 in instead of the stock intel fan, I don't think I need a tube but just double checking.

Does anyone know of where the Zotac 8800GT AMP is in stock, because OcUK hasn't had them in stock for a couple of weeks now and I will be buying the parts in a few days hopefully.

Surely you're better off with a new g92 512Mb GTS for an extra £10 or save £40 and get one of the cheaper 512Mb 8800GT cards. The Zotac one is the same as the cheaper cards, just overclocked slightly which you can do yourself. Waste of money imo.

Is the B-grade, as downgraded version of the normal cards?

Edit: there isn't any decent 8800GTX's on the B-grade, anyway.

There must be somewhere with them in stock apart from ******, I came across a site the other day with them, and they had all different Zotac 8800GT AMP bundles, like one with an extra VGA Adapter
Don't mention competitors or you'll get yourself banned. I suggest you remove what I just starred out.
B-Grade is returned refurbished stuff AFAIK. Can get some real bargains in there. Just get a different 8800GT instead.

When should they get some Zotac 8800GT's in, can't be that long because I will need one very soon, as all the rest of the products I will be buying are in stock apart from the graphics card

What 8800 card would I be able to get for the same amount of money as the Zotac 8800GT and is as good or a bit better, the card most be in stock as I don't think this card will be back in stock in the next couple of days.
