Hi all, I have been wanting to upgrade my PC for awhile now and since I have come the money now to do so (21st Birthdays rock), I felt there was no better time.
This is what I have put together so far:
Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - OEM £201.99
Asus P6T SE Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard £138.99
Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card + Colin McRae Dirt 2 Full Game £119.99
Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (TR3X6G1600C9) £109.99
Corsair HX 650W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-650HXUK) £96.99
Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3) £62.99
Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (WD5001AALS) £43.99
For a total of £795
I plan to get another 5770 in march and going crossfire, until then the single one should suffice.
Looking for comments, criticisms and suggestions, if its not in my list I have already got it. Main use is for Video editing/encoding and moderate to high gaming
