Hi everyone just looking for a bit of advise from people that know their stuff. Well I am thinking to invest in a decent PC that can play games such as GTA 5 with no problem at all.

I knew this would not be an easy task but did not know how hard for someone new it can be with the amount of components out their. I have even thought to just buy a pre built machine but think I may save a bit building my own and also it will be fun as I like electronics so construction would be no problem just getting the best components for my budget that will do the job.

Would building around this bundle do the job for say GTA 5?

Cheers.

Hi and welcome.

Yes that is an excellent bundle if you want a smaller sized PC.

If you want a spec then tell me what parts you need (tower/OS/keyboard etc) and a budget.

And did you want a small PC or dont mind a mid tower etc?

You will save a nice chunk of £££ if you build yourself.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Well a smaller case instead of a big one would be better but what are the disadvantages?

I would not need an OS as I have Windows 8.1 already a decent mouse and keyboard will do but nothing too extreme same with monitor a decent size say 23 inch but again nothing too extreme as it will be in a smallish room anyhow.

My budget for the actual PC itself £700 to £800.

Cheers.

Smaller cases, there are some good ones on the market and apart from less expansion slots they are perfectly capable of taking a long gfx card and a tall heatsink.

A little something I just knocked up.

• Case has two fans with speed controllers.
• Overclockable CPU/Board and a cooler.
• 1ms response monitor will be ok for games.
• Free game with the GFX card.

Included a modest sized SSD that can hold the OS and some games, add a HDD later maybe.

Non overclockable CPU+board.

Cheers.

Thats a nice price for everything and it includes the moniter. The only thing I think I would change is the SSD to a normal 1TB.

Would this set up run games like GTA no problem?

At 1080P with normal textures it should average around 55fps.

The GTX770 is a bit quicker, say 60-65 fps average.

Cheers mate for the help. With this obviously been an expensive decision I will ponder over the choice from now and the weekend. Hopefully by monday I will be ready to order.

Once again thanks a lot.

Ok, come back when you are ready to order as prices change often and weekly deals go from Wednesday to Wednesday.
