New PC build

Hi

I assume you going for a Green/Black theme ?

I have changed the power supply for something better, and added a set of braided cables.

The Fury Ram is also cheaper and still looks nice.

The MSI Motherboard is all Black and has USB 3.1

The 3 extra fans are for the NZXT cooler and the rear case exhaust. These are optional, as are the Green/Black braided cables for the psu.

You should be able to get 4.4GHz. You can always ask in the overclocking section if you need more help.

Lee32 uk this is a really nice setup Thank you :-)

What do you thin should a pay extra £60 for the https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=gx-091-zt&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1402

if you don't want to overclock the card yourself then it is probably worth it. it is a very fast card out of the box. it also gets very good reviews.

I wouldn't get an OEM Intel processor if I were you. For paying slightly more for the retail version, you get 3 years warranty compared to 1 for the OEM.

Will it die in 3 years? Probably not. Can it break in 3 years time? Yup.

It's only £10 more, sometimes even cheaper, for 2 years of warranty. When you are spending £1700 I'd say it's worth the extra for it.

However, this does give me an idea for a discussion thread.

I will go with the retail one :-) Thank you

I have still not decided about motherboard I don't mind pay £250 I just need easy overclocked stable motherboard I have just reed some reviews
that the msi SLI is not really good for overclocking compeering to Asus x99s any other suggestions please ?

And the ram should i go with 2666Mhz or like Lee32uk sugest 2400Mhz?

Thank you

CPU failure is very low. I personally wouldn't have any issues buying an oem cpu. I can see your point of view though.

The Gigabyte SOC champion is the overclocking board of choice on X99 but it is Orange/Black.

It isn't worth the extra £50 for the 2666MHz over the 2400MHz. You won't notice any difference.
