I don't need SSD's. Budget is around £700.

Don’t get that Kolink PSU it’s nasty...

Do you already have a GPU? There isn’t one in your spec...

I’d go for this on the latest B550 chipset board, along with a nicer case.

Doh lol... what monitor/res do you play at, 1080p? If so I’d go for a 1660 Super.

Going back to your original choice of case to try keep it in budget then... I’d stretch to something like this if you can.

@bulldog147 what? Yeah if he wants to play on low-med settings at semi-comfortable FPS, or watch a slideshow rather than game...

No good for triple AAA games or playing with high graphics settings. The 3600 and a decent dedicated GPU is a much better investment lol.

I mean yeah skimp £20-30 for slower RAM if want it closer to budget... But definitely not drop a good dedicated GPU and go for a lower end CPU with integrated Vega graphics...

Motherboard not 100% whether it ships with a Ryzen 3 compatible BIOS... Also unknown whether Gigabyte B450 boards will support Zen 3 so potential upgrade issues as well.

If you want to save £30 you could always get this 3200MHz TeamGroup kit instead. It's only a small performance difference 3200 vs 3600MHz.

Looks a good build mate - wow you upped the GPU to a 5700XT? What monitor are you using and sort of games do you play?

I hope you have a high refresh rate monitor if you're on 1080p? Or you're not gonna see the best of that GPU at all.

My monitor is quite old but I plan on getting a new one at some point. I play everything from League of legends to Star citizen so would like a system that can keep up a bit

Well as long as you get a decent monitor later on, go for it looks solid

With LoL you'll be fine, get a few hundred FPS on 1080p with that GPU/CPU lol.

Star Citizen is quite an intense game, don't think it's that well optimised. Heard it's quite CPU intense but that rig should keep up quite well with it.
