Hi Guys,,,I need a new pc for the Mrs,,all she uses it for it things like Facebook and the games you can play on there,,ie Angry Birds,,Castleville etc. Was looking at this system,,,
"Primo PLUS 500i" Intel H61 DDR3 Ready Barebones (Socket 1155).
I have a spare Graphics card which I think is a 4570,,,not quite sure as I have'nt got it to hand at the moment. Never built a pc so not really confident of building one but I have changed graphics cards and hard drives before.
Any advice would be welcome,,,my budget is a very low £200 so I know I cant expect all bells and dancing machine but this seamed to fit the bill. Thanks for any advice you may have

Btw what you were looking at is a Barebones kit so bottom end everything and doesnt come with a decent PSU or DVD-RW or HDD.

i'd love to see you run that spec without a hard drive ;p

Yeah that would be something!!!. A new Hard drive would cost around £50 and I was thinking I could take the dvd drive out of my Mrs old Dell pc,,,so for about £200 with the above "barebones" system she could have a new pc. Dont think the hard drive in the Dell is a Sata or I could have saved money there too !!!!!

You'll need to buy a HDD either way, and like I said the Primo doesnt come with a decent PSU, running a dedicated card on it might blow the system or force a shutdown every time you boot.

Also the DVD-RW needs to be SATA and if the old HDD isnt SATA I doubt the DVD-RW is either.
