I know that this gets asked loads, but I have £2000 to spend on a new Gaming rig. I used to keep up to date with all the tech, but been out of it for a few years and have no clue where to start again, keep finding loads of contradicting articles!
I have all the peripherals, gaming mouse, keyboard, HD Monitor, Speakers, just need the actual Rig!
So any help would be appreciated, I already know how to build it, as built a few computers, just need the components, the ideas I would like to run with are below:
Primarily:
A gaming rig that can play games at 60 FPS in Ultra mode, ideally with one card that I can just add another same card in to keep up to date with new games.
Case wise, I am not that fussed as long as it isn't just a black monolith!
no idea about Memory is SSD better than HDD yet? ideally 1TB physical memory, if it runs faster with 2 drives in a raid configuration, then basically with that as well...
Nice to haves (but not to take away from the primary):
I would also like to be able to put a soundcard in as well as the 2 GPUs in future, as have some awesome surround sound speakers left over from a job I did a little while ago.
Blueray Read Write Disk drive (again, very optional depending on price)
I can stretch the budget depending on what you guys suggest!
