I bought my last computer from overclockers the 'titan krypt' but ive come into some money and I'd like to upgrade.

Ive read that buying individual parts is cheaper than buying a pre built pc like I did last time. Is it possible to pay for Overclockers to build parts I've bought?

I have no clue about computers but if someone could make me up a gaming computer for me I would really appreciate it. I will be using it for gaming such as WoW/Assassin Creed and similar games and hoping to have it on better graphics than I have now.

Thanks in advance

Luke

what are your current pc specs? you may be able to reuse some parts.
do you need os/keyboard/mouse/monitor?

Need nothing but the computer and have an operating system from my old PC, will that work?

System specs from that last computer I bought from OC are;

Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 850 Processor, 3300 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

RAM 8GB

Video Card - Sapphire Radeon HD 6770

System Model M68MT-S2 I think?

My knowledge of computers is really low and im not very confident in moving parts myself.

I dont mind spending up to say 100 pounds more if it's going to be a huge difference. I want this system too last me 4/5 years. Thanks for the help, really appreciating it.

I have been told that Superflower is a poor quality power supply, is this true?

Also is the cost between the 290 and the 290X worth the price?

Do Overclockers negotiate at all? The build I want is a fair bit more expensive on this website but I loved my old computer from OC and would like to purchase from them again

Even if its just like a free assembly, i'd be paying £1200 after all.
