I was looking at this but with a Titan X as the graphics.

I have a question about the OC though. if I was to select the ram option of 16GB 2400MHz rather than the 8gb 2133MHz is that likely to cause the 4.6Ghz OC to be lowered?

I noticed there was a similar system with the same cpu but a lower OC but I can't tell what the reason this system has 200Mhz less on the OC.

My current pc is also from OCUK I got it in 2010- Ultima Drednought with a i7 950 (Bloomfield) OC @ 4GHz with a 580GTX. It runs gta quite ok at reasonable settings but I am finding it my temps keep going up to around 95+ and when it goes much more it blue screens.

Thanks for the advice!

Hi.

Can you build a PC yourself?

No.

I noticed there was a similar system with the same cpu but a lower OC but I can't tell what the reason this system has 200Mhz less on the OC.

Not sure why, the boards are different but the smaller gryphon is still decent at overcloking.

What part of your existing rig hits 95+ the CPU or GFX card?

Hows it cooled? when does it hit that temp? gaming etc, have you tried applying fresh thermal paste?

Its closed watercooling, corsair hydro H80 I think.
I reapplied thermal paste about a year ago when it noticed it was overheating in another game. I cleaned all the dust out the ventilation on the radiator about 2 months ago.

It only goes up to those temps in games, idles at about 65c

When I replaced the thermal paste last time it didn't really do a lot to control the temps going that high. It kinda has always been like this, I am considering taking the overclock down a little maybe.

Besides all of that, I am strongly considering getting a new pc like the above anyways. I could self build, I have done so before for myself and for others, with OC. But these days I'd rather save the time building and OCing and getting it stable by paying a little extra for someone else to do it. Unless the price difference is considerable of course.
