i am going to build a new pc for vr gaming based around a 3070ti but am unsure whether to go intel or amd for the cpu i did think about a 5800x and am unsure what motherboard to go for without gpu the budget is about 800ish so hope to can help and give me your thoughts and options please

Amd build 32 gb memory but could drop yo 16gb to get near budget, no Wi-Fi on motherboard.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £878.71 (includes shipping: £15.90)

Mite want to look into Intel Alderlake cpu build 12600k or 12700k.

Many thanks for the advice I will have a look and is the power supply enough for the gpu and everything else

Yes psu is fine for the 3070ti could up to 850w if you want for £10 to £15 more.

12600k is a great cpu for the money as mentioned in other thread but motherboards are more expensive .

It's a tough choice though I would lean towards the 12600k but make sure you check cpu cooler compatability you may need an extra bracket
