Hi, the PC I was going to buy is now longer not available :(.
Atm I seriously don`t know what to go with.

As a starter im looking for a system that can be set on ultra settings with a speed of 120+fps
Im running 1440 but looking for one with extra power that could do 4k. ( I would sooner have more power than I need and should help with load usage), Also will be for VR gaming
the monitor I have is the red eagle G-master GB3461WQSU.

I was told for the CPU to go for the AMD 8 for pure gaming, but im not too sure.
The only info I can find for the best CPU`s are the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X states the best cpu for gaming, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X best affordable, and the Intel Core i7 10700K. Intel's best gaming CPU is a great value proposition.
I have had a look at them and others over the last few days and cant decide whats best.
Also the motherboard, I dont need wifi, at least 4 slots for ram, built in 7.1 sound system, no onboard gfx.
also that can handle the power.
PSU, case and fans and HD I can choose my self. not looking at water cooling.
The GFX card will be the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 when in stock, but for now use my old card.
the ram will be 32gb.
Estimated build is around £2,500 depending on what components.
Thanks for any help

Plenty of scope in your budget to pick whichever gpu you wanr , the 6900xt is available for £1300. 5800x is plenty as thd higher resoloution uou game the more gpu the game is. Motherboard has w8fi but one of the best value boards.

CODE My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,089.01 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Is there anything you would change?
Also on the configuration there is no options to add fans etc, also the CPU seems to be watercooled only

You can make changes to a build you just have to contact *********** to discuss , like adding fans and changing cooler

Psu i would ask whats availavle but theres going to be a wait for the gpu.

M2 500gb is not enough 1tb would be better unless you going to add more later.

Thanks, 500 is enough for windows to run with updates and drivers, I have a 250, but that is tight for drivers, windows etc. I have a 4tb HD for all games and apps I use, and can just transfer the HD to new system.
I only trust Geforce range, the amd`s I had before and hated them, I can use my old card till the new ones are instock, yea looks like they have a high spec at 1/2 the price of others in its class, I had a look at the 24gb cards, but think they are a bit over kill lol

I would go with a 1TB SSD. The WD Blue SN550 1TB would be fine for that, and it only works out £30 more than the SN750 500GB.

The Kolink PSU wouldn't be my 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th choice. I would ask them to change it for something like a Corsair RM/RMx, SuperFlower Leadex III, Seasonic Focus GX etc. A 750W - 850W will cover you for that setup.

I would also go with a different cpu cooler. An AIO is ok if you want the aesthetics, but 120mm units are not usually worth it for the price. That Asus one is a particular rip off at £120.

If you don't mind a non RGB one then the Arctic Liquid Freezer II is hard to beat for the price.
There is also a 280mm and 360mm version. A 240mm/280mm will fit in the roof, and a 360mm would fit in the front of the 680X case.
