New PC help needed

My new PC must be future proof so how about this lot, feel free comment.

Processor...........AMD 970
Mobo ................Asus crosshair iv
memory..............Corsair dominator 6 or 8GB ?
PSU...................OCZ

Graphics card........not sure yet !

all to be OC, Budget is quite important, i already have the case/fans/HD/PCU Cooler (lapped Thor's hammer)

i'm not sure how much RAM i require ?

Can you be more specific about your budget? 'quite important' doesn't really help us much.

thanks, yes i'm considering the 6 core; to be future proof

i.e......i dont think that 6 cores makes much difference for gaming, if any; but it might do in a years time ! :eek:

I don't think the AMD is as future proof as you think as in comparison to I7s, they are quite bad for gaming.

I'd DEFO go for the sandy bridge, you would be a fool not to if your a gamer ; )

the sandy bridge is way too expensive....
