New PC - Help please :)

Hi all,

Tomorrow i am going to go into the overclockers store and buy components for a new PC. My budget is £850 but lower would be better. I was looking to get a quad core system with 4 gig of RAM (will vista home professional run with this or XP home?) and hopefully 2 nvidia cards so i can run SLI.

All i have at the moment is monitor / keyboard / mouse and speakers.

Could anyone suggest components to buy? Any help would be appreciated.

would it be worth upgrading the gfx to a 9800gtx or an 8800gtx? Also im sure ive read somewhere that the 32 bit operating systems wont recognise 4gig of ram.. Is this true?
 
I havent picked this up yet..the only thing that is putting me off getting it is the motherboard. Id like to have the option to go SLI if i upgrade my monitor in the future. Could anyone recommend a decent one for me please?
