New PC help pls Budget £1,200 mainly gaming at 1440p

Hi all,

Appreciate any help in putting together best bang for buck available at OCUK.. Its a gift so will be ordering next day or so to build over weekend ideally.
He games a lot but not generally AAA titles, mainly Steam games like Rust but also League and perhaps when GTA fnally comes out he'll want to play.
Monitor is 1440p and already has all the mouse/keyboard bits. Current PC is in a red NZXT H510 Compact ATX Mid Tower from 5 years ago so could be reused.
PSU I doubt will be much use, same for RAM, CPU, MB & Drives other than add-on storage after build complete. Have Win 11 key so no requirements there.
PC will be also perhaps used for University work for Mechanical Engineer but doubt there will be massive requirements if first 3 years anything to go by...

The budget needs to cover MB, RAM, CPU, GPU, PSU. Not honestly certain what fans in the existing case so maybe include a new case on top the £1,200 and can decide whether a complete fresh build best way to go.

Anything else I need like thermal paste etc would be greatly appreciated.

build quality is just slightly lower than the antec, but comes with 6 argb fans
