Im really not happy right now i spend all my money ive got on this pc even tho Its not a Beast or anything but im having an issue now im really scared Its bad..
Everytime i play a game i can play for like An hour or So maybe more but Every time what would happen is the screen colors goes all inverted with lofd of blue and purple while it makes this buzz noise and then my computer screen goes blank i have to then restart the pc then Its fine and then the problem comes back again only when gaming tho..
What could it be???

My specs are

Ryzen 1500x 3.5ghz
Asus k320m mobo
GeForce 635gt video card
8gb ddr4 Crucial
And a 120 Kingston SSD drive

What's the PSU? Sounds like either the graphics card has an issue or it could be a faulty PSU.

Check the usual stuff. Monitor GPU temperatures while gaming. Do a clean install of drivers. You've got an oldish card, so use some older drivers from some time after that card's release.

I did all that i even tried the earlierst version of gpu drivers for my card for Windows 10 didnt help also my psu is brand new itd a antec 400watt one also it seems to only happen when i play again but it happens everytime my sscreen Will go inverted colors then itll freeze with sound loop and then my monitor goes to black..
I also checked event log i do see BSOD and stuff but it doesnt tell me from what it is..
Not sure what to do should i buy a new video card?

As above. And what's the buzzing noise you mentioned? Where is it coming from? That might be a clue...

Its the audio of the game like the Colors Will Go inverted while i hear the game sound hanging and then suddently no signal and i have to manual reboot..
Of checked event log it shows BSOD but doesnt day from what idk what to do Its not over clocked all of the settings are auto i even tried to forceba voltage amount that didnt work either so Its back on auto...
Not sure what to do is my cpu defective ?
Should i try a nee vid card?
I dont have a lot of money tho
Could it be my SSD?

Everything in thr pc is new exept the GeForce 635 but Its not showing Signs of dying tho unless that problem i have is from the gpu?
All temps are fine and voltage i Just dont know
Oh my bios is updated too

I suspect it's the graphics card.

Try running something like Intel Burn Test to stress the CPU: if it runs that fine then at least you know the CPU is ok and the PSU is providing the necessary power.

If that's all good I would look at getting a new graphics card. Either get one new to test the system with - you can always return it within 30 days. Or get a 2nd hand one off the bay.

Ok i will test video card
Man i just dont know what it is tho
It only happens during gaming all games does it ive tried diff drivers for everything as well like mobo and gpu and the latest too..
I checked the voltages on the psu they seem fine does that mean my cpu and psu arr fine then?
I will do the test as well
Also coukd it be the ram?
Everything s new tho exept the gpu that came from my moms pc but it was working in hers and i dont see any artifacts or anything only when the crash is about to happen the screen colors turns inverted with a lot of blue and purple then you hear the sound of the game hanging and looping and then the screen just cuts out and its black stays like that untill i force to restart the computer with power button..

Also in my event log viewer i see BSOD and unexpected shutdown but that all it tells me u think its card still?
Iwilll try to pick up a cheap nvidia card to see

Yes, I think it all points to the card. If it was RAM you'd be getting errors at other times too. Since all the other parts are new, it's unlikely (tho not impossible) that they're problematic. If you run a stress test on the CPU, that will tell you whether it's ok or not. But since the issue is specifically gaming and seems video related, the GPU seems most likely to me. If there's no artifacts then it's probably not GPU memory, but a problem with the graphics processor itself or something in the power circuitry.

Ok im rly tight on cash but ill pick up a new video card cheap one to see i hope thats the problem but the thing is it says in the event log unexpected shutdown can a faulty gpu do that?
The screen goes blank and i have to restart manually so maybe thats why the error? Its not cpu related maybe? But its stock setting tho nothing i can change there :(

Rly weird at desktop seems fine gaming seems fine up until the crash happens like it runs fine looks fine then suddently that crash happens everytime..

Anyway i get back at you if it was fixed or not

Edit: i ran prime95 for like an 45mins nothing happened
I rly hope i can fix this i cant game on it :(

The unexpected shutdown is you manually restarting. Yes, the GPU can cause a crash - at least this is what I've experienced in the past.

If you're really strapped for cash, just make sure you've eliminated the other possibilities as much as possible: do a CPU test, check the RAM with memtest. Beyond that, don't see what else there is!

Have you spoken to OCUK support? If you bought the parts from here, you could at least ring up their tech support and get some help from them?

Nah i bought the parts from a dutch computer part store wwe.alternate.nl
Also i just picked up a geforce 710 GT i know it isnt fast but it was cheap brand new and its just to test to see if it fixes my issue so ill let you know..
Tbh i think there is something else at fault then gpu because the whole screen goes purple and blue and inverted and sound hanging then it crashes to blank screen only restart will bring it back up but you could be right i hope so..
What if it still happens with the new card what should i do then?
I cant rma a part if i dont know which one is at fault ;(
Also my psu voltages are fine does that mean it not psu issue?

Tbh, I'm not very sure about how to read the PSU voltages and what that tells you. Let's see what happens with the new gpu - one thing at a time :) The sound hanging is just an effect of the crash, whether it's caused by the gpu or otherwise.

Let us know what happens with the new card - good luck!

Well I did some testing and it didnt help :(
the problem is now different in a way because now it doesn't crash to blank screen but instead if I change the resolution of a game other then my main max resolution those negative colors/inverted shows up again this time it doesnt crash but I tried diff games I tried reinstalling windows no matter what if I change the resolution in game I get that again..
I can make a picture if u like but what could be the cause I rly want to fix it its a new pc

Hi, sorry that hasn't fixed it. However, it obviously has helped a bit, if it's not crashing any more. It seems there might have been a problem with the GPU, but maybe there's something else wrong. I'm a bit confused tbh - not sure what to say... Hoping someone else might chip in here and offer advice.

Have you tried with only 1 stick of RAM at a time?

wow marlon

you really are having a bit off bad luck with all this.

1. what is your gpu temp running at on hwmonitor while normal browsing and then gaming ?
2. what are yoiu changing your gpu settings too ? cause if your running to much for graphics card to cope you are going struggle
3. what games are you playing

Thanks, missed it.

I'd personally look at resolving in this order, seeing as you have tested the CPU in Prime, and you don't get errors at other times (which could indicate RAM).
1) PSU - Whack in a more reliable brand
2) Mobo - I hate swapping mobos over.

When it freaks out, have you checked the mobo for error codes?
