New PC - need help

make sure with that H100 you fit the fans, inside the roof space pulling the air out of the top of the case, if you try to keep the fans and rad attached you will have problems fitting in the motherboard.

Great Spec tho ! that thing is going to FLY !! and the games will blow your mind if your used to a xbox 360

I was looking at this video -

I reckon the H100 in the roof space compartment under the mesh and two fans underneath blowing up and through the rad.

I saw a video from overclock3d if I'm not mistaken with them working on a build with a similar spec to mine with two fans in the roof compartment. And the H100 just below it somehow slotting in perfectly.

Or it could have been done like this

I think its easier for a fan to push and force air rather than suck and try and pull air.

Lastly, why two DVD drives? disk to disk copying?

You could get a Blu-Ray + DVD RW instead of one of those drives.

I'll take your word for it, what fans would you recommend ?

Two DVD Drives that will be used for burning verbatims

I don't use Blu-Ray mainly stream my HD movies/tv shows

Thinking about it, I make you right I just noticed the 2 DVD-RW drives.... make to the fan, the H100 has quite abit of space between the rad fins so the pull should work depens what fan's his going to use I guess...your way does make more logic tho as always :D

With a machine like that you won't be using your xbox for much longer :P

Use the fans supplied.

Also try and not talk about piracy etc;)

May do that (or may copy that guy on Overclock3d) he said the fans he would be adding were quieter than the supplied fans but will wait and see for myself before purchasing added fans unnecessarily.

That's the plan kind of anyway. Looking forward to a ton of sims that I can't get on a console (C.A.R.S/Flight Simulator and a bunch of RTS/RPG Games as well) And the Battlefield 3's of this world with graphics I'm yet to experience :)

Nearly £20 per fan:eek:

Yeah I'll wait until my PC comes in during the week before ordering them but still tempting for me nonetheless if I find the supplied fans an annoyance.

Ouch !! The stock fans ain't that bad under load, thats £40 of fans just to cool the rad !! Stick with the stock unless money if not an issue

Guess I'll have to wait and see then. Just last time I built a PC it was a noisy bugger don't want the same issues this time round.
