With only 1 pc in the house now after the death of quite an old AMD machine, I basically need a total new build. It will primarily be for gaming but also work related stuff [which isn't anything too heavy - office, browsing etc]. My budget is around the £1500 mark - give or take a bit. Just wondered what people thought of the below build - any input would be appreciated as I've been out the loop for sometime now.

- Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail

Does it have to be pre-built? Or is building it yourself an option? What monitor are you currently using?

EDIT
On your selections: you're overspending a bit on the cooler and the motherboard. You also don't need 16gb RAM for a gaming PC. So you can save a bit of money there, or put it into other areas of the build. The case in particular I would upgrade, as the Shadow does not have great airflow.

Do you plan to add another GPU in the future? If yes, I'd upgrade the CPU to a 4770k. If not, this spec is essentially the same as yours (4670k/780ti) without the SLI capable motherboard or PSU:

That case doesn't look the best for airflow to be honest. I think the Bitfenix Ronin might be a better option.

You could change a few things in your spec to balance it out more. I would drop down to 8GB Ram, and 550W/650W for the psu, if you are only going for a single card. Also something like the Alpenfohn Matterhorn cooler would do just as well for an i5 at half the price.

Thanks for the input, as I said im a bit out of the loop in regards to things these days, so the help is much appreciated.
I chose the case mainly because my last case was the Fractal Design R4 black pearl case - and it looked similar. For some reason I thought I needed a 750 PSU after a chat to somebody. The 780 Ti is because I have always been amd and due to other commitments have never really been able to afford the higher end of graphics cards, but would prefer to spend big on one card.

I agree about the Ronin, seems really good from the reviews. It's just the cooler and PSU on the Tanto I'm a bit unsure off. I'll phone the sales team up tomorrow and see what they can do about that [if anything]. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
