New PC Needed...

Hi,
I have been posting on here for a while now but i am yet to buy a pc lol, I have recently started encoding movies e.t.c so i can burn them onto dvds and my laptop seems to be really struggling so i am thinking a pc will help...
I have a psu,dvd drive,hdd and kboard+mouse and monitor already.. Because of the credit crunch i am limited to about £200 so if i can get a pc which will encode fairly quick then i will be happy.
Apart from encoding it will be just office use and also some Football Manager so i dont think a graphics card is necessary....

can you give us some information on the other things you have please? specifically the PSU and HDD. sometimes its better to buy these also. edit: would 200 include an OS? if it does, you may be pushing it.

This is your 6th or 7th "spec me" thread in as many weeks and it's getting a bit boring now tbh. Do you actually intend buying a PC or are we going to have to endure endless threads like this?

Why don't you check the Sticky at the top of the General Hardware section and buy something similar that matches your budget - it is quite a decent guide.

I don't mean to sound harsh but thought it needed to be said.

, Ok i will have a look through that thread, Sorry for the inconvenice. Yes i do intend to but my circumstances are changing all the time so i havent been able to commit.
