Hi to all on the forums im a long term buyer/browser, some people may have seen me on your RO2 server.
My current pc is starting to have seen better days now even with it costing me £1500 from OC.uk back in 2008 and it has lasted me ages, just goes to show you get what you pay for.

Current PC:
Q6600 B3 @ 3.2GHZ (Tuniq Tower 120/Kickass cooler) Dont ask me how I got 3.2 outa the B3 lol
EVGA 680i SLI
OCZ Reaper DDR2
OCZ Game Xstream 700W
Antec 900 (pretty rare case ;) )
EVGA 560ti DS
Fatal1ty X-FI

However I have recently brought a EVGA 560ti DS which is spot on. But with the new 560 the realisation of 'my Mobo, Ram and CPU sucks'.
Im about to come into a lot of money around £25,000+ (massive car crash) and am wanting to upgrade this pc for gaming/to go onto a 40" HD TV, before I go mad and buy a brand new gaming pc to go downstairs.

Do you guys have any input on buying this new hardware? I will be overclocking the most out of a i7 950 on air, which I already have for a bargin.

- Asus X58 Sabertooth TUF Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
- Corsair Vengeance 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Triple Channel Kit
- Akasa AK-CC4008HP01 Venom Voodoo CPU Cooler

The main things im wondering about is if I can get brackets to fit the Tuniq 120 onto the new socket?

Is that memory good enough for 4.0Ghz or more?

Thanks for any help :D

Try emailing tuniq/maker to see if they do brackets for it but dont be suprised if they dont.

You already own the i7 950 and just need the mb/ram and cooler? Just turn the ram multiplier from 1600 to 1333 before oc AFAIK and you should be fine.

Also look to getting a SSD lke the crucial M4 128 as that will make a huge difference to load speeds etc as you dont mention what hd you own.
