My mate recently ordered a new PC and has just finished building it, it turns on fine and all but on the monitor it shows "No signal", he or I have no idea what to do but he has been fiddling around for it for the past hour and nothing really happened, so thought I'd make a post for him here and ask for your help. If you need any more info just ask and I'll try get it for you ASAP. Cheers guys

Processor: i5 760
Mobo: gigabyte p55 ud5
Case: antec 300
Graphics card: HIS 5850 Turbo
PSU: Corsair VW 550W

All the fans are spinning, including the graphics card fan.

Check all power connections and check the 4 or 8 pin for cpu power is installed.

Memory in the correct slots and or try one stick only.

Have you got the little speaker thing plugged in to give you error messages?

Do you have the video cable plugged in the graphics card not the mobo?

I had this issue with my Motherboard. Turned out that the PCI bus was set to the main display adapter...had to reset the cmos to be able to get in

Don't seem to have a speaker header. There is no integrated graphics. The 8 pin is definitely connected to the mobo. Will try using 1 stick of RAM now.. thanks, any more suggestions are welcome
