New PC old HD, check Windows?

Turned my PC on for the first time, it's running the SSD from my old laptop and kept Windows 10.
Everything seems OK but everything online tells me it shouldn't have worked (instability issues?) how can I check that Windows is running fine on all my new hardware?

Go into Device Manager. As long as everything is fine there - and things may need updating - you should be okay. Windows itself may need reactivating.

When you say "everything is fine" you mean everything just shows what it is correctly?
And I think if it needs reactivating it throws up a message asking for the key?

No yellow or red icons. I forgot to add that you should check the event logs too.

I'm not actually sure. It's been a while since I had to reactivate a copy of Windows.
