Hey guys,
My machine isn't ancient but I've got some spare cash from selling my motorbike, I'd like to either upgrade my existing PC I bought the components from OcUK, or start fresh.

I'd like to upgrade to a 9950X3D and a 5090 gpu. Not sure my current PSU and RAM etc will be compatible?

Thank you in advance

Below is the parts on my current build:

Yes, they should be fine. XMP works just the same with AMD boards, for the most part.

I'd wait for the rumoured next gen X3D, if it has 12 cores on one CCD that'd be dandy.

Bit of a sidegrade there though, which I assume you're aware, since at higher resolutions those CPUs are not going to perform that different.

Personally, I'd rather spend it on a monitor, speakers, or something like that.

Did you say speakers? What a daft recommendation. :D
