hi everybody

after hours of fighting with the thermalright ultra extreme 120, i've finally got in, i've got a 8800gts with that aswell. anyhow my questions are;

-i powered up the system i heard 2/3 loud "roars" (very loud noises) from the pc, this is the gfx card right?
-i've got a
Scythe S-FLEX 1200RPM Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan - 3/4 pin
which is connected to the ultra, this is meant to really quiet right? cause i am getting worried because its so queit i thought the fan wasn't even on.

-i've been trying to get this

Samsung SH-S203NRSMN 20x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer Lightscribe ReWriter (Beige/Black/Silver) - Retail

to open its drive door so i can change the bezel but it simply won't, i've tried inserting so many pins it simply won't open. what do i do?

no the instructions say to insert a pin.

ps. do wireless usb keyboard and mouses working outside of windows i.e. setting up the CMOS etc, its a logitech mx3200. before posting all i did was to see if the pc posted and it did

maybe, but what's stopping you powering the drive up, and ejecting the tray?

Was about to ask the same thing.

The pin "method" you are talking about is there for when you dont have the option to power the drive and you have a disk stuck in there for example, seeing as you have got power, just turn the PC on and open the tray as normal, et voilà :p

you dont need the drive to be in a bay to do the above u can have it hanging out the side of the pc and once u have it open pull the power cable out, just dont connect it to the mobo

Yes :) The receiver acts just like the keyboard & or mouse are connected directly to the PC.

I'm guessing this is your first build? Word of advice, make sure its working fine before changing or updating anything (unless you need a CMOS update for CPU, etc to work with mobo).

If the receiver connects the PC via USB you might need to enable the USB keyboard functionality in the BIOS to get it to work outside windows.
