I have a 3 year old XFX Pro 750W which I'd expect to do just fine in a new system. However I've had some bad experiences in the past with PSUs dying earlier than expected, and taking half of a new build with it. Should I just get a new one or will it be safe to use this one?

If you didn't notice any instability issues before you should be OK. Also bear in mind if your new system is using more power it might show some changes.

I've had a 5 year old Be Quiet 850w PSU running on my updated system and it's been as stable as when I first bought it.

You`ll be fine with XFX, it`s a good quality unit.
