New PC, same GFX card and monitors, but one wont work

Hi guys,

I just built me a new setup, everything new apart from the 3080 which I have had for the last three years. It has been running three monitors no problems since then.

I cannot get my third monitor to work now. They are all connected via DP's. I can pull the monitor which isn't working out and put it in the others and it works, so I know the cables and the monitor is still good. Yesterday I ordered an HDMI to display port cable hoping I could use the HDMI on the back of the 3080, but that hasn't worked. I have also just tried plugging that into the motherboard HDMI in the hope that might work, but no.

Nvidia drivers are all up to date. I'm not sure what else to try, I have tried clicking 'detect' on windows 11 etc.

I have a ASUS X870, 9950X3D, Windows 11 if that helps?

Any ideas?

This can be closed. I was pulling my hair out. I just put in the 5060ti I bought for another PC and that had all three screens working. Put the 3080 back in (I have reseated it a few times already with no luck) and it is now working. Very strange.
