Hey people,

getting ready to build a new pc in the comming months (still waiting to see what AMD does, how DDR3 takes off and also was nVidia comes with).. i just did a mock up of what the PC will be and...couldnt decide whether or not to go with water cooling or not. heres what ive got..cant remmeber the full names so bear with me

Intel Quad Core 6600 (2400MHz)
Asus P5W64-WS Pro Intel 975X motherboard
2 HDD's (x2 500GB) Seagate Barracuda
Nvidia GeForce 8800 ultra (may change depending on the market, i dont use uber hi resolution..so i dont think SLi would be beneficial for me)
1000w PSU
4GB DDR2 PC8500 Corsair Dominator TwinX

recommend any changes? would you recommend water cooling? The case I've bought for it has 4 fans..2 at the back, 1 on the side and a huge 250MM fan on the front.

still cant decide whether or not i can find enough reasons for quad-core for my system just yet.

thanks for the replies guys. im pretty certain i dont need SLi now..but im still undecided whether or not to (excuse the pun) take the 'plunge' with water cooling or not. i read a review and some parts were quite leaky and built with poor quality.

For some reason..i had trouble understand the actual differences between the intel boards (normally amd and its been simple).. but all this 775 P35, 965p and 975x stuff confussed me a little as to which was more effective.

Finally..also mentioned an ultra as I do a lot of gaming and would like to run crysis at a near max quality level...not to mention play AoC aswell.
