Hi,

My PC upgrade is way over due and with crysis and UT here it is about time. I want to keep the cost to as close as possible to £500. I've not touched my PC for a long time so I'm out of touch with current component kings somewhat.

Here is what I've specced up so far

At the moment I'm missing a PSU and a CPU fan (that fan can wait for a little while if need be)

Any reccomendations.
Cheers

PS i have a dvd drive already.

You might be better getting an E2180 or a similar process for that series and then clocking it up and past the stock E6550 speeds. If you got that and an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, the money you saved could be used to give you a bit more to spend on your PSU and a P35-based motherboard, and those E2180 clock like mad :)

Edit: And you might as well go for the OCZ memory that's on offer at the moment as I think I heard somewhere that if you do have to clock it at any point, it's more stable than the Geil stuff
