Budget was 400 went a bit over as usual, using case/dvd-r/hard drive from old pc.

Case is Antec 300.

Anyone see any issues?

No issues other than the fact you're downgrading from your current system? :p

That PSU, I wouldn't trust.
The processor, from a 2500k? o_o
The 480 is still quite a well performing card too.

Is this PC replacing your current? Because it doesn't seem worthwhile to me

nah, its for a friend :)

He does moderate gaming on a low resolution like 720p currently. He may upgrade monitor to 1080p eventually i guess.

Yeah my concern was also the psu, another friend has used the same brand for over a year powering much bigger tech, so maybe they are ok and the budget is the issue behind that choice. Do you think its worth losing the modularness for a better brand?

The power supply is likely to blow up or something. It's best to get a known branded PSU such as a Corsair or OCZ. Other than that, the spec seems fine :)

To be honest I didn't even check the corsair's when I was doing the build, didn't know you could get one at that price!

Tyvm that'll do perfectly.
