superglue it looks like and it's still not preapplied

I can see it on the pics on the OCuk webpage now i know it's white (it's just above the metal clips for the fan in the final shot).

In fairness that's only enough for one application. Granted that's all you need but it's not preapplied and any cooler that includes a tube of paste means it can be reused.

As the 7850 is a good overclocker, it might be handy to have some thermal paste spare if he wanted to alter the cooling on the GPU.

Sounds like you're just trying to find reasons for the OP to include unnecessary extra paste when the cooler comes with some already.

I'm just saying that a tube of paste is handy to have bud. He doesn't have to fiddle with the GPU it's just an example of how it could be reused other than for application on the CPU.

The 7850 is good for overclocking, it's not uncommon for more "hardcore" builders to replace the thermal compound on the GPU or even swap out the heatsink for a better aftermarket air cooler or a water cooling block.

Yes I'm going to extremes to prove a point. Only the OP knows what he is likely to do in the future.

I used the 700W PSU for Xfiring the 7850 (dual cards), if you won't dual card the GPU then there is no harm dropping to the 600W unit or even spending less on the mobo.
