New PC spec suggestions

Very nice spec you've chose there.
It might of been intentional, but there isn't a DVD drive?
The lack of a DVD drive is intentional :)

Six cases fans is silly.

That £60 could get a much better case as the Antec1200 is an ancient design with poor cable management and some "tacked" on features (read USB3) to try and make it appear more modern.

This Bitfenix is current £114 for the weekend (normally £129.99) - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-076-BX&groupid=2362&catid=1850&subcat=
Looking at bit-tech's case benchmarks for cooling, the Antec 1200 trumps the Bitfenix, and we're impartial to the design differences. Thanks for the feedback though :)

If the Antec 1200 is anything like the 900 with regard to cable management, i'd reconsider the "looks" factor, i got the 900 just over a month ago and deeply regret it now, to the point i'm going to try and sell it already.

It may trump it, but the Shinobi XL isn't awful.

Im just worried that you will get the Antec1200 and realize that the cable management isn't great, the way the SSD is botched into the floor section is also untidy (you screw the SSD in from underneath).

It really is a design around 5 years old now.

• the gfx card is on offer this weekend and still quick,

gtx660 vs 7850 - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/660?vs=549

• the cooler i reckon will fit with the ram (if unsure then change the ram to proper low-profile stuff) if they are placed in slots 2+4, or use a closed loop water cooler.
