New PC Spec.

I would get the C2D6600, 2gb PC6400 RAM, a 965p chipset based mobo if you're not planning to go SLI, 2 Western Digital 500gb AAKS in RAID, Corsair 620W PSU and a different case.

Cost will come down by quite abit for almost identical performance

I'd agree with mcc49s advice although I might change the motherboard to an Asus P5N-E 650 SLi as I prefer Asus normally, the DS3/DS4 are very good though. I'd also buy an aftermarket cooler - Scythe Ninja, Tuniq Tower and Noctua are all worthwhile. :)

Its pretty pointless seeing as the E6600 will clock past E6700 speeds and then it will be much nippier. Its the same as going for an E6300 over a E6400, both chips are the same, but one has a higher clock speed than the other :)
