heres the new system im lookin 2 get soon..jus wanted to no if everything will be compatible and if i should replace any items..i dont do any gaming at all and not looking to overclock..just want a very fast stable system..thanks

If not gaming, why the gaming mouse? Could get a decent wireless one instead :)

To future-proof it (Vista, etc), recommend you the GeForce 8500GT.

Rest looks good, but wait for more opinions ;)

Maybe instead of that memory you could try something
that clocks better like the crucial ballistix PC-5300

And also in some motherboards 4 sticks of memory can cause
problems. But hopefully you should be okay.

Also may I ask, what made you go for that case?
And what will you be using the computer for?

If you were ever planning on going gaming or anything, it
might be worthwhile to get a nicer graphics card? :)

Better bang for buck on the RAM, and you simply don't need a 520W PSU. Also, if you're not overclocking, you might as well save an extra tenner and just get an Asus P5B tbh, perhaps putting that towards an E6600.

i heard great reviews and everyone seems to recommend that Gigabyte DS3P motherboard and the corsair psu...is the geil ram as stable as the corsair..i always thought corsair was a better brand..and i want a future proof system

They are both great, but the GeiL is cheaper due to everyone buying it. Surely that says something. It is NOT second rate memory.

The Asus board offers more features for the money, plus the marginally better chipset should you ever wish to look into overclocking.

The Corsair is indeed a very good PSU, but the simple fact is that you do not need it. Tagans are quality units anyway. Plus, they are modular and quiet, just like the one you first chose. :)

Typo. Should have been "8000". In any case, it's still surplus to requirements here.
GeForce 8 series...
  • HDCP
  • Purevideo2
  • DirectX 10 (& not only in a gaming context)
  • etc
Let the OP decide if 'surplus'.
