Hi, wasn't sure whether to put this here or the games section.

Recently built up a new PC with the following spec:

i5 2500k
Asus P867 LE
Crossfire HD 6870's
12GB RAM
SSD for Windows, HDD's with games etc on.
Windows 7

Problem I'm having is that I'm getting a very routine stutter on all games, like every 2 seconds repeatedly. I've tried updating my video drivers but I'm still having the same issue.

What's strange is that I even get it in old games such as Half Life 2 and such. Does anyone know what it may be ?

Probably the SSD...what SSD have you got and how have you set it up?

Also, what happens when you only run one GPU?
I haven't done any real setting up of the SSD, pretty much just formatted and installed Windows on it, what kind of extra setting up can I do for it?

I'll try running just one GPU now and report back.

What PSU are you using?
I'm using this Antec one, bought new for this PC. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-117-AN
Are the HDD's that the games on RAID'd?
I get this with my RAID'd HDD's that I have Dirt 3 on.
Nah they aren't, they are all just installed normally.

Ok just disabled Crossfire in CCC and tried Deus Ex on max settings, smooth as silk! Can't figure out why this would cause an issue :/

Tbh I may have to if I can't resolve this problem, only reason I went for this setup is because I already had one 6870 in my PC. Going to make a thread in the graphics card forum and see if anyone's experienced this problem and fixed it.

Cheers for the help :)
